Should Jenson Button stay at McLaren?

One of the biggest debate's today on BBC radio Five Live appears to be over the 2009 champion Jenson Button. Winner of just two races this season, the 31-year-old is yet to commit himself to a one-year deal after 2012 for the Woking based team. Could this be that he has accepted team mate Lewis Hamilton is McLaren's number one driver long term or has Jenson decided to go elsewhere because of the team's inconsistency and failure to mount a serious challenge over the past two season's on Red Bull and their lead driver Sebastian Vettel. The Silver machine has often looked unsteady on track, difficult to handle and often even struggling to match the pace of Ferrari and Fernando Alonso. In addition to the above the team have often made the wrong call for both driver's in the pit lane, especially at their home race in Silverstone when they failed to secure a wheel nut to Jenson's car causing the wheel to come off and Jenson to retire from the race.
